Who is this Quad Designed for?
The Coyote Stretch X was created and designed specifically for the 90 percenters. Who are the 90 %'ers you might ask? Great Question!!! 90% of those flying and racing quads (drones) today fall in the beginner to intermediate skill level and don't have sponsors sending bags of props and boxes of free motors. If you fall into the category of being a 90%, when you crash and break something it costs real money and it can add up quick. The Coyote Stretch X has been designed and built to eliminate a lot of the costs associated with purchasing replacement parts such as cameras, esc's, and all the other electronics that you end up buying because your "super fast" frame broke on its 3rd crash. Whats even worse is seeing electronics like cameras hanging off of the front of these frames just waiting for a date with a race gate pole or a ninja branch. By keeping most of your electronics protected inside the rigid and very durable Coyote "cage" you can crash over and over again allowing you to eliminate that nasty word BUILD in BUILD, FLY, CRASH, REPEAT.
What Makes it Different?
So whats so special about this frame? Glad you asked. All Carbon RC has spent the last few months scouring the globe in search for the perfect carbon fiber. We were very happy with the carbon fiber we had been using but knew that there had to be even stronger and more durable carbon fiber sheets out there. How did we know there had to be some better carbon out there? Another great question. As a quad (drone) enthusiast I have purchased many different frames from most of the major frame manufactures out in the market today. What I and many others have found and agreed upon is that ImpulseRC uses the strongest and most durable carbon in the quad (drone) world today. Since they set the benchmark so high it has been difficult to find carbon fiber that provides that same quality and characteristics until today. Now here is the full disclosure...I do not have or know where they get there carbon but at All Carbon RC we have located a carbon manufacturer that is currently producing for us, carbon with very similar characteristics such as quality of finish, durability, and strength. This means the Coyote Stretch X frame is more durable, stronger, and has the looks to back it up.
Tell Me More!!!
The Coyote Stretch X is milled from only 2 thicknesses of carbon fiber. The four arms are made from 4mm plain weave matte carbon and the top cage which consists of two side plates and a top plate are cut from 2mm. The sandwich plates, both top and bottom, are also constructed from 2mm carbon. Now unlike most of the quads out on the market today we decided to steer away from aluminum standoffs. Because aluminum is a softer metal it tends to bend and compress during those hard crashes exposing and damaging your internal electronics. The Coyote Stretch X design eliminates these pesky standoffs and uses the advantages and strength principles of a monocoque design while still providing access to all the electronics easily with the Coyote "cage." Because this quad is designed for the 90%'ers and hard crashes are to be expected all of the aluminum hardware was thrown out and the Coyote Stretch X uses only 100% US stainless steel screws and hardware. What does this mean? It means very simply that you can beat the poo out of your Coyote Stretch X and she will keep you in the air flying. Don't get sucked into the hype train of the "lightest" "fastest" quad that leaves your gear unprotected and scattered across the race field, get your self the durable, strong, ready for anything, protector of cameras, Coyote Stretch X. Trust me your wallet will thank you.
